Core Skills: The Litigation Process and the Role of ADR
This core skills course provides delegates with an overview of the litigation process and how ADR fits within it. It also explores the essential legal cases that impact upon the decision to engage in mediation.

Who is this for?
This course is intended for those delegates that have already achieved accreditation as a Civil & Commercial Mediator. No prior legal qualifications or knowledge is required as any legal terminology or principles will be explained.
The course attracts 1 hour of the annual 6 hours CPD required by the Civil Mediation Council for continued registration.
About the tutor
Zoey is a Barrister at Normanton Chambers practicing in the areas of Family Law and Personal Injury.
Having qualified as a mediator in 2006, Zoey has now been involved in providing training across the UK, as well as overseas, for organisations including the Bar Council and the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) for over 7 years.
