The aim of these two days is to provide delegates with the ability to mediate workplace, employment, and related conflicts with skill and confidence. The course also looks at discrimination, abuse, bullying, and harassment. It is offered as delivered to the NHS and other government agencies and is thus especially useful to those workign in this area. The course is recognised for CMC Workplace Mediation registration.
The leaders provide an insight into the changing workplace, conflict and its causes; they consider the workplace relationships; stakeholders; grievance and disciplinary measures; timing and engagement; pre-meetings; dealing with deep emotion and the boundaries of confidentiality. The course allows mediators to move into the wider range of work that is available with organisations including the NHS, armed services, and local government.
