SOM's Free Mediation Project in collaboration with HMCTS is offering free mediation to litigants daily in the Central London Court Court / RCJ court centre - open to SOM Members only: for mediations or observation opportunities, please call 0207 353 3936 or email support@218Strand

This is a major project and will also take place throughout August and September 2024. In 2023, some 40 Members completed their observations with the FMP and 36 conducted their first mediation there.

Join the Society to play your part, to learn, and to begin work.

+ Mediators for the FMP must be members of SOM and have trained with us, completed three observations, be in date for CPD, and be insured. Briefings are given daily by SOM Trustees to mediators.
